Site Info

Website System

This website is running on a converted LinkSys NSLU2 - smaller than a paperback book! This device is sold by Linksys as a network storage device utilizing Linux and Samba. There is a strong community interest in modifying this device for other uses. This site is using the Unslung firmware. For more information, follow the links below.

My Contributions

Applications

In addition to the Unslung firmware modification, this website is also running Thttpd and qmail. The website pages were designed using Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady, precompiled with "includes" using custom C code, and are served utilizing the THTTPD webserver from ACME Laboratories. Qmail is used for mail services.

Linksys WRT54G

The Linksys WRT54G has also gathered a large following. My first embedded web server effort utilized the WRT54G, but the NSLU2 is now running my website. Using Open-WRT, version 2.0 of the WRT54G provides about 6 MB for a website. For more information on this effort, check out the links below.
